Rosalie Gerut (composer) has performed on stage, radio and television internationally. She has written the scores for the musicals Songs of Paradise for the Joseph Papp Public Theater and Prairie Lights, which was nominated for the prestigious Jeff Award in 2003. She composed music for the PBS documentary Breaking the Silence and for the feature film The Imported Bridegroom. Her music was used for a Barbara Walters' ABC documentary on the Holocaust Museum as well as for the ballet We Are Here: 4 Songs which premiered at the Stuttgarter Ballet and was also presented at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Her numerous original songs can be heard on the albums, "We Are Here," "Sleep My Child," "The Imported Bridegroom" and "Of Angels and Horseradish."
